I've heard the s700i has bugs where when a caller calls you, it doesnt show his name even if his name is in the contact list. i just encountered this yesterday but it's slightly different. when a friend whose in the phonebook calls, it just shows the number but when i click on recent calls, i see another person's name there. i did a check as i thought i made a mistake with the numbers but found out that both have diff numbers. i tried calling the other person whose name was found on the recent call list and it doesnt even dial. it just says dialing, then goes back to the standby mode.

I've just upgraded to the "G" firmware. does this firmware fix this bug? or did i do something wrongly? please do advise. thanks

Did you have this problem with your earlier firmware? This message was posted from a T230

Same thing happened to me recently. But the cause of my problem was accidently having two contacts under the same name... Suddenly my girfriends number was showing as a mates number in my call list? I had to delete all three contacts and then just re-enter them(renaming the duplicated contact) and then everything was ok!

It would be gr8 if it gets solved with that ease! Otherwise, it might be a buggy firmware. This message was posted from a T230

Usually a master reset and a full sync solves this problem. This message was posted from a K500

Did you try deleting and putting in the contacts again as someone said earlier? Might work. This message was posted from a T230

Please help. I just bought my S700i last week and im having problems with repeated messages being sent to me. I verified with the senders of the messege and they all said that they only sent the messege once. Another I always have to get the battery in and out just for me to get the next messege on queue. My friend has the same problem, how can we fix this? Thanks alot.
