Hi,
I have recently debranded and upgraded my s700i to R3F. I am using a Sony MemoryStick Duo 128, and have around 70MB of mp3's on the stick at the moment. I can access these quite happily using the File Manager, however if I try to use Media Player, it will show 1 or maybe 2 tracks, and then locks the phone up - the only way out being to remove the battery... Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this? Without the memoory stick the media player is fine.

i have heard of problems before when using a 128 ms duo.
not sure whats causing it. hopefully someones got a way around it

I've got a 128mb duo, and it works fine. recently got the R3k firmware and the first track seems to skip.
which firmware do you use?

I am using R3F - I would be surprised if the mp3's were corrput, as they play back fine if accessed from file manager...

I think the problem is solved in R3G. Check your local service center for availability.
