Yesterday my new 1 GB duo pro died. My P910a and my computer can't format it and tell me it's corrupt. I've tried to contact the online store I bought it from and Sandisk. Just waiting for replies now. Is there any kind of warranty on MSDs? Anyone else have any issues with the new 1 GB cards?

I had exactly the same problem with a 512mb sandisk pro duo and it took them 2 months to replace it. mind you, when they did replace it they sent me 2, by mistake I assume, and I couldn't be bothered to sort that out with them and never heard anything more about it

I had a faulty 512MB SD once which I bought off ebay but Sandisk still sent me a replacement which I got from US in less than 2 week.

Got the new colour coded SanDisk 1GB memory stick duo pro yesterday for my P910i and it lasted not more than a few hours. At first it was working fine on my P910i and i formatted it using the phone. Later i was copying some files into the memory stick using the built in card reader of my notebook PC when i received a i/o error message. Now P910i says "Disk Corrupt" and my notebook Pc and card reader on my desktop PC are unable to read or format it. P910i also is unable to format it. I tried using various other gadgets i have that use and can format MSduopros (camcorder, digital camera, PSP etc) but nothing works. MSduos from SanDisk suck big time and as i have found out on the net there are quite a few problems with a lot of peop,le using Sandisk memory sticks with their equippment. I also have a Sony made 512 MSduopro that i got for my camcorder and it doesn't give me any problem on any of the gadgets. Anyone knows what exactly is the problem with these Memory sticks from SanDisk?
