Hi there,
at the end I bought an Ericsson T39m yesterday.
I've tried a fast test trying to connect my HP Jornada 680 to the T39m to connect to Internet. I have a mobile connection from my ISP.
I selected as modem: "IR Raw Connection in COM4:" because that was the only one I saw in the combo box of the connection manager of the Jornada. I activated the t39 infrared port and....
nothing happened
. An icon appeared in the stand by screen of the t39 when I activated infrared but after that, nothing else.
Does anyone know how to connect this two devices using the infrared comm. port?.
Thanks in advance,
Rafa!

try this. download
http://wap.sonyericsson.com/emi_download/DI28/InfModem.exe
and then,
On your PC, double click on the downloaded, self-extracting file. You will get two new files named eri_irda.load and eim.exe.
Double-click eim.exe and follow the installation instructions.
After the installation is completed, you must reset your Windows CE device.

Thanx a lot Arnold!.
This afternoon I'll try your solution but it looks very good. This software you told me is the one for the DI28 external infrared modem for other ericsson phones.
Have you ever tried this solution?.
All in all, thnx again
Rafa!

@imageneer, this driver is for Windows CE 2.11 and older HPC devices such as ours. That is what I use on my Casio E-100. Works like a dream, up to now even though I already have an iPAQ.
cheers.
