hi all...just got myself an s700 of ebay, sim free and half price so im over the moon. but the previous owner was obviously not too careful and there are a few minor scuffs on the casing.

so what im wondering is if any of you guys have any ideas how to cover up these scratches. they arent very deep its just i want it to look much nicer. i was wondering if dabbing a little bit of silver spray paint onto the areas with a cloth or earbud, carefully of course but i dont want to mess up.

any help would be great
thanks in advance.

Bought some if this stuff myself but I haven't tried it yet as my K700 is still in tip top nick. Let us know of the results if you try some eh?

Mine has a couple of light scratches on it but nothing serious. From what I can see the body is made of polished aluminium as it is quite soft. maybe some filler?

@Notbad. Do you think that may work with damaged CD's too?

@notbad...already have that mate but its not the screen thats the problem that seems to be fine, its the actual phone, i was thinking of using some silver spray paint with a earbud and then covering that with a varnish of some sort?

ive heard changing the housing is extremely difficult on this phone. let alone finding a housing in the 1st place. i might go ahead with my idea and get back to you if it works. tommac
