My p800 went to CELL Heaven and after using my trusty old school NOKIA 6100, I broke in and am ready to grab a P910. Alot of "stores" sell them unlocked for about $700- $750 here. Anyone know any good reputable folks who sell them in the US? I gray marketed my P800 and when I cracked the screen, SE wouldnt cover my warranty so I would hate to go through that again. Ebay? or anyone have better experience with someplace else?

Buy it directly from SE. Its $749 plus you get a free bluetooth headset. Or get it with a plan and I think its only $499.99 and again you get a free bluetooth headset.

My sister-in-law inquired a few weeks ago. As per the sales rep.,

honors their warranty. Ultimately, it is up you to inquire at the nearest authorized service center if they do honor the warranties given by 'notebook for less'.

If you're anywhere near San Francisco, there is a great store called Citicomm Wireless (1116 Folsom) that stocks P910i phones.
Not gray market, unlocked and unbranded.
The owner is really nice and very helpfull.. I had a great experience buying my phone there.

Big time Mahalo for the advice. I called T Mobile (my provider) last night and they had no idea what the heck I was talking about even after I told them I had a p800 on thier network. They STILL didnt believe me. Oh well. I thought folks in Hawaii were backwards!
Thanks for the tips.

You don't really have to bother talking to your provider about your phone. There is a setup utility on the SE support site. there are no providers offering P series phones in the US right now, so buying at one of the shops listed is probably your best bet. SE should honor the warranty as long as the phone was purchased legally.

I got my P910i for about $460 but I get a $400 rebate back...so basically I pay $60 (tax on the phone). The only problem is that you would have to open a new account. I did the exact same thing on my P900 and got my $400 rebates right away. I am located in Cali, and the store I went to is in Monterey Park. The reson why T-Mobile doesnt understand about the phone is because its not their phone. I had questions about my P900 and they couldnt help me.
