The other day, I was using my P910 as a modem and after about 15 minutes the conenction died. When I tried to reconnect it wouldn't and I noticed on the phone that there was a strange GPRS alert icon on the top bar and it said it wasn't accepting any calls.
I can't find any info on this in the manual or Im just looking in the wrong place.

Has anyone else seen this?

What does it look like? A handset with a slash or a cross? This message was posted from a K500

It means that the GPRS/phone reception is so bad so it stops the service until you get better reception (I usually get this problem at the mansion where the closest 3G/GSM antenna is too far away).

Yeah, it means that when you are in gprs, calls are not allowed. In settings, there will be "allow calls" but that into automatic. And you can get calls while gprs is active. But i'm not sure if that is what caused the connection to fail. This message was posted from a K500

Wow, a mansion huh? nice!

Why doesn't the manual have a picture of that icon? It would have been nice to find that w/o having bothered the list.

If its what Govi said, then its indicating that while using gprs, no callse will be allowed. Neither incoming nor outgoing. And yes! That sign isn't there in the manuals! This message was posted from a T230
