Firstly, if this has already been answered, I apologise.
If so, could someone point me in the right direction.
I purchased a Z1010 4 months ago, from Australia. It's branded 3, but has been unlocked and is now on the O2 network.
All was well with it until last week. Since then, I have had the 'Can't receive incoming calls' icon displayed on screen.
I have tried a master reset. This cures things for an hour or so before the icon re-appears. As the icon suggests, I cannot send or receive calls. The same applies to SMS.
I've tried the Sony Ericsson website, but everything just takes me around in a circle.
Another thing I have tried is to put the SIM into another phone (Nokia) and all appears fine. Putting the SIM back into the Z1010 will give me an hours use.
Please help me to enjoy my Z1010 again.

Have U tried any other SIM cards in the Z1010?

I currently have another SIM in. Just waiting to see how that fares.
I've also requested a new SIM from O2, just in case that's where the fault lies.

I've had no luck with the new SIM.
The phone worked for about 36 hours this time before locking all phone functions.

Would it be a firmware issue?
I've never updated firmware on a phone before, so I'm unfamiliar with the process.
How do I check what version I have?
