can't we use mp3 ringtones on z1010?. It can play, but not set a ringtone

I was sure the Z1010 could use mp3 ringtones like K700, K500, S700 can. They're all based on the same platform.
However I've never had a Z10 so I don't know for certain

yes the z1010 can play mp3's as ringtones. well at least mine did before i lost it.
if yours is branded then you probably need DRm packager.

Might be a problem with variable bitrate or something.. also mp3īs ripped with Lame tend to be bitchy sometimes. Try downloading an official one of SE site and check properties and mimic them on your own mp3!
I had lots of mp3 ringers on my Z1010, even let bobafett inherit my didgeridoo one
