Hi there, I have an O2 online SIM in my P800 that gives me 300 free txt and 300 wap mins (not the newer 1mb version)

I have been able to download my POP3 emails fine for 18 months from my personal email address (Totalise email address, my ISP) but it suddenly stopped working in October. I can send OK and can surf the net via WAP & GPRS but when I select 'Get & Send' it just hangs now.

I have all the POP3 settings correct

Any ideas?

This has happened for everyone that used to use WAP to pick up pop3 on O2. You can only do it via the mobile web settings now that don't work on PAYG

You can still check your email free on pop3 only if its an o2 email account, there are loads of different dial up settings out there to use but you get charged an awful lot, ill be happy at a penny per minute not 10/15p per min

*Think* O2 are trying to move people away from dialup data over to GPRS.

When I upgraded my O2 online contract last year I lost my 500min inclusice dialup and this was replaced by 1Mb of GPRS.
