Hi, today I received my dream phone. The sony ericcson k700i but i'm having troubles
I've set up most of it quite easily but its just the messaging part i'm struggling with. I've sent a message to my mum and all she receives is a message saying shes received a picture message
Is there anyway to change this so she just see's the text message as i'm only sending text?
Am I doing something wrong?

Most probably this is a firmware trouble. It has been reported that in some phones, while selecting new message, there is no other option. Actually there must be two options, text and picture.

I've looked at the faq and I can't find my answers
I've seen firmware on it but nothing about orange firmware.
Its a pay as you go orange sony ericcson k700i that doesn't send text messages.

There are two faq's, one for forum, other for esato, read esato, finding firmware is same for all SE'S. When did you buy the phone?
