How do i use my k700i as a modem to surf the net on my laptop. I believe you can do this using the DSS-25 sync station, Can anyone help please?

Firstly you need full internet and not WAP connection. What kind of connection is it? Dial up or gprs?

U have to install K700i "serial modem" and use that as ya dial up modem.
it's pretty similar like normal modem dial up.
for the K700i "serial modem" driver, u can get it at official
web site
