Hi,
I still have problems with K700 and full carkit HCA-200.
When in the cradle, the phone still switches to the clock screensaver after 3 or 4 minutes. I know the purpose of clock screensaver is to save power, but when directly connected to the car battery, this should not be a problem
But this is not the most annoying. Since my last firmware upgrade from SE Update Service (R2AE033), the back light always remains ON when in clock screensaver mode.
If you're driving by night, this absolutely unusable, and is quite dangerous !
The only workaround I found for night driving is to put a cloth over the phone, so that the light does not disturb my vision.
Anyway, that's not what I'm expecting from a phone which is presented as one of the best in it's category !!! I previously owned good old Nokia 6x10 series with CARK-91 carkit, and overall quality was far better !
Of course, no responses from the hotline.
Is there any way to get rid of that ? Shoult I expect this to be solved on a future fw ? Or should I start looking for another phone with better carkit support ? Any suggestions ?
