> K700i SMS Capcity lowering - Memory problem?
Bookmark topic
I've had my k700i since september, at first it could hold 100 text messages, then it went down to about 55 and saying 95% full around 50. Now it's gone right down to 30 and its full. I have 30mb+ free space, is there anyway I can fix this?
thanks

Is the sent folder empty? You can increase the message memory of the K700 by saving texts as templates.

What firmware version does your phone have? I'm just curious because I have never experienced this problem.
I still have R2A on mine. I didn't see the need to upgrade because my phone is generally problem free.

That shouldn't happen. Take it to SE for a check anyway. Maybe you should get the firmware reloaded.

This seems to be a problem with the K700i, I was hoping it was fixed in the newer firmwares as I have not heard of anyone with this problem with firmware after R2L.
Either flash it yourself with an unlocker app or take it to a SE service centre, this is all you can do to resolve the problem.

What about a master reset?

Yup a master reset seems like it could solve this.
