Bookmark topic
since updating the firmware to R2AE033 EMEA1 EU1. my signal bar in the top left corner has a block of blue on top of it constantly.(looks like stairs!) fig 1. so on certain themes the blue stands out and looks out of place. anyone else had this problem? what could it be?
fig 1

The blue block above your signal bar is your GPRS signal indicator. If there is no blue triangle above the signal bars, you have no GPRS signal!
You can't remove it or alter its colour as far as I'm aware.

Don't worry . That blue bar denotes gprs availability!

You can remove that symbol by changing the options from "gprs and gsm" to "gsm only" in the preferred service option.

Note: sinc eu have disabled GPRS, u will not be able to receive GPRS data or use any of that functionality.
I suppose it all depends on your Vodafone contract type and whether or not it supports it and whether u want to use it.
Judging from your post, u have no use for GPRS!

@hyperiablue, i dunno about the K700. But in my T230. I con use gprs even when i select "gsm only". The signal appears when i connect and disappears after disconnecting.
