Just got this for £35 from Expansys in the UK. Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know how big a MMC card you can use in this thing (i.e largest MB size)?
Also, is it happy if you use SD cards instead of MMC?
Thanks for any help
Vince

I think the largest memory size supported by the HBM-10 is 64 MB.
But i'm not sure.

A friend of mine uses a 128 card without any problems, transfering the tunes is a bitch though since it's serial. If i had a 128 card i'd spend money on a USB.

I presume you guys are talking about the HPM-10? The HBM 10 is the bluetooth music player.

I have the HPM 10 and use a 128 MMC no problem. I bought a PCMCIA card reader for about £20 which reads SD MMC CF and MS cards. The HPM 10 does not support SD, the SD cards are too fat for the MMC slot anyway.

sorry to drag up an old topic, but is it possible to connect this to a computer using USB, serial or anything else? That would be a lot easier thatn buying a straight card reader.

hbm 10 doesn't exist
hpm 10 is the normal one (mmc)
hbm 30 is the bluetooth one (ms duo)

Hey i recently brought a HPM-10 online for 22.50 inc. VAT+Delivery
cheap huh?!

Anyway my point is that i got fed up with the 32 MMC i had so i tried expanding it to 128Mb and guess what... IT WORKS! i brought it online from http://www.mobilefun.co.uk roughly £30.

I got mine for 6 euros! Wonderful soundquality. It works perfect with a 256 MB MMC A-data. The card is formatted for FAT16 and that is the point. Use Your camera or Palm to format. T39/T68 can support only 99 tracks but it is enought! I highly recommed to use a card writer/reader of USB-type. It is very efficient if compared to that coming with the box. Takes only afew seconds per track.
This should be an accessory for everybody! Good stereo, great bass and treble. You see track items on the screen. Supports high bitrates at least these new MMCs.
Listening CCR´s BAD Moon Rising. Maybe Nokia´s melody tomorrow? Who guess.
