I tried posting this in a resurrected thread on the ngage but not really got any anwsers due to my threadjacking So just giving it a little thread of it's own, here goes:

Firstly, I have one of those Nokia unlocking programmes, and the Ngage will most probably be locked to Vodafone. I know the Ngage is a DCT4, but there are a couple of subtypes, ASICs I think they're called - 2, 5, and 7. Which one is the Ngage?

As it's a Vodafone one I'm getting - does the Ngage have Vodafone branding on it - i.e. have I just bought one with those nasty blue and red menus?

@radar - it depends, you may get one that's sim free, or not, ask the seller if you can if you know, and if you can see the phone, try your sim in it. If it's sim free/unlocked, it should work with any telco in any country, as long as it uses the same gsm frequency, which I believe Pakistan does to Europe.

@wapchimp - thanks, I'll give 5 a try

Well, thank goodness the phone arrived unlocked - and no Vodafone branding - Phew!

Just one quick question - how do you lock the keypad? I've had a look at a manual in pdf format from Nokia's website and so far haven't found out how to do it. It's something simple I'm sure
