> T610 Freeze, Need Help!
Bookmark topic
HI,
Iīm from México, last week i bought a SE T-610, it included a SIM CARD, so when i arrived to my home, i charged the phone 10 hours (as they advice me when i bought it), then i could used it very well (it was the first time i was knowing and browsing my phone, when then my phone got freeze, the only part that is funciontional a this time is the keypad(numbers) and the Power On button(you canīt turn OFF the cellular by the button, you have to remove the baterry) and the Volume buttons.
The freeze includes the joystick, which i canīt use it(it seems that itīs not included in the phone), also the 4 bottoms that are around the joystick button, so i canīt access any menu option of the phone.
You turn ON the phone and thereīs no problem with the sim CARd, the phone detects the network signal(TELCEL) and everthing itīs ok, except that the only functional part of the phone itīs keypad(numbers). The only way i can turn off my phone itīs by removing the baterry.
I was reading something about master reset, who can explain me how can i reset my phone, and tell me the advantages and disadvantages of doing that.... does this solve my problem?
Can anyone explain me whatīs happening??, how can i get my phone to work 100%, any ideas or suggestions?, sorry for my lack of english, hope you could understood me,
Thanks!

Hi. Welcome to Esato. I think you should try doing the master reset. Go to settings and you'll find master reset option. There are two options. Reset settings and reset all. Select reset all. And let us know what happens.

Oh sorry. I didn't undertand your first post properly. So you can't access any of the menu at all! What happens after you take out the battery and switch it on again? If you still can't access the menu, i think you should take your phone to SE for a check up.

after taking out the battery and switch it on again, the phone continues the same way, it can't access any menu, the only keys that are working are the numbers keys.
Any idea?

I really think you should take this phone to the service center. This might be a manufacturing defect. Do you have any service centres nearby? Where did you buy this phone from?

My k700 had this freezing problem in which EVERYTHING froze up, i realised that it was a SIM problem, try using the phone with a different SIM and if that doesnt work, the only option is to take it to a SE service center

The phone was bought at the Service Center of my city(TELCEL, MEXICO), actually this service center has only 4 months of being opened, so i think i should take the phone to there,

You should get a replacement handset.

Don't try to get it fixed. The phone is brand new. You should just return it and ask for another 'brand new' phone.
