Is the R600 a "real" Ericsson or was it designed by Arima of taiwan (www.arima.com.tw)? The A3618 (the R600's predecessor) was partly developed by Arima...
So does that mean the R600 is a clunky phone?

AFAIK the R600 isnīt a real "Ericsson" phone. It's not developed by Ericsson. I think it was developed somewhere in Asia so it might be that company you are referring to.
What do you mean by clunky? I think the R600 looks quite good and it's quite small as well. Almost the same size as my T68.
