Hi
I want to buy a phone that i bidded for on ebay, i came second but the winner didnt pay or something and the seller offered me the phone, but NOT via ebay.
I dont really trust all this to much, so i wanted to know what i can do if i pay and he doesnt send the phone to me??

If u do the deal outside of ebay & he scam's u its tough! You have NO protection, not even with PayPal.

You're safer buying from the Esato Market from a Trusted Seller

My suggestion is force payment for the phone via paypal. That way you have some protection.

I wouldn't do it the other way.

right...but the problem is that he wants me to pay the money into his bank account, then the will send the phone...
Im buying from someone within spain, so would i be able to take back the payment i made if he doesnt send it??
Could i take the person to court via authorities (police, etc)??

Not necessarily! There are 'conditions' to their protection. And BTW ebay own PayPal now

I also live in spain, but i live on the north-east coast, and he lives in madrid (centre-west).
Im happy about going on with the deal, but i just want to know if im at risk of losing my money forever (with no solution)
