today i was supporting my p910i by the flp because i was writng a texty message when the casing on the flip started to snap i have only had it since christmas and feel robbed

its not that urgent right now im gonna need one soon though cos i was fuming after 2 months and a cracked case thats just bad quality all over have to see the terms and conditions on my contract

Afaik, You're entitled a free replacement in any effects creep up during the warranty period. IT'S a manufacturing defect. Isn't it? But i'm not sure if this is extended to the flip. This message was posted from a T230

I think as users of electronics we need to have some common sense. The flips on these phones are plastic, they are therefore subject to breakage. We need to support the phone while using the flip. Its physics after all. Any design where you have a thin part holding a thick heavy part has angular weaknesses.

That being said, since its a SE design they should support you and replace the flip for free. If I were on their customer service department I would certainly do that. Alas I'm not and therefore can't really speak for SE.

Give them a call, see what they're willing to do, threaten them with outing them to this board if they don't comply
