Hi All.

I found the results of GSM Awards 2005 where SE won 1 award for Best 3GSM Handset for the P910. Unfortunately, the Best Mobile Handset is went to Samsung SGH-D500.
What makes me confuse is, compares to the nominee list announced previously by GSM Association, in the Category of Best 3GSM Award SE is nominated for V800 and not P910 (P910 is nominated for Best Mobile Handset that lost to Samsung).

Here are the nominees:

Best Mobile Handset:
- Motorola Razr V3
- The BlackBerry 7100 series
- Sony Ericsson P910
- Siemens SK65
- Samsung SGH-D500 (Winner)

Best 3GSM Handset:
LG U8120
FUJITSU FOMA F900i
Sony Ericsson V800/Vodafone 802SE (Winner is P910?)
Samsung SGH-Z107
Sharp SH902
Vodafone Live! 3G terminals portfolio

Can anyone on Esato explain this?

Here's the link : http://www.gsmworld.com/awards/winners.html

Thanks...

what the heck does D500 have over V800? it couldn't even expand its memory. Who ever judge that had got to look again. A 1 GB limit expansion already killed D500 that you couldn't even talk back about it. Damn those judges.

That's strange.The winner of 3GSM handset should be V800/V802SE instead of P910i, and P910 isn't a 3G handset. This message was posted from a P800

Bizarre indeed, the P910 as 3G phone.

But look further down the page, Ericssons' response team has won the award for "Best Use of Mobile for Emergency Situations". The capabilities of their response team are stunning indeed.
