> Increasing volume for Ringtones
Bookmark topic
Hi guys
I had installed some ring tones from JC mobile web site. The link to that well maintained web site was given in one of the posts here. I loved all the sections of this site specially the small collection of ring tones.
One of the ring tones " the musketeers" i believe so is in .au format and the default volume ( even at Max level ) is very low. Is there a way i can boost the volume level of the ring tone with some software or so..
I have set my ringtone volume to maximum.....

I think some audio formats use the multimedia volume rather than the ringtone volume. Try boosting that a bit by pressing on the little speaker icon.
Otherwise, you'd have to try to increase the volume of the file itself. I know there's an app called mp3gain to do this for mp3's, but I don't know about other formats.

iTunes has a gain control facility. If you download/use iTunes, just import the file, convert as necassary (all within iTunes), adjust gain, upload to phone!

You could use
dbpoweramp to convert to MP3 and then use
MP3 Gain to increase the volume.
