This a quick question and a general one. Will a branded phone refuse to register for certain applications especially if they are not legal?

what do people think?

no ...branding is just all the rubbish your service provider puts on ..like start up pictures ...there own home page on internet etc

you're probably thinking back to the software locking that Orange put on some of their SPV models but no, thats not hte case for SE phones that are branded

well ofcourse this is not what i should be posting maybe. but ....i have a branded unloked Voda 910 and i was trying to register unreal player and ultra mp3 platers with the keygens...but the phone woudnt accept the code? for some reason i dont know.....

it says the code u have entered is incorrect ....

I assume u have double checked the IMEI No & the key code and you're entering everythin correctly.

Also some cracks/keygens don't seem to work if u run the app normally/as a trial first.

dosent the p910 give you a different imei number/formatt in your registration box , than you would get by doing *#06#...i have read of peoples apps not working because of this problem.

where do i check for the IMEI if not from the Hardware menu by using * jog dial function? Do you mean on the box or from the battery compartment?
