I always wanted an ericsson t39 but i cannot seem to find it anywhere.
A friend of mine is giving me his r 380 for rs 2k. Is it a phone worth buying? What are the good and and bad points of this phone?

It's good as a phone with very basic PDA functions, WAP over CSD. The world version can also be used in the US. Bad without GPRS and Bluetooth support. Standby time is not that perfect.

There are those who will gripe over the size, as it is clearly a big phone. But it has some nifty tricks. You can copy/cut/paste text across applications, its go a calendar, mail client and notepad, among others. If you are on a budget and do not use GPRS....

Its a great fone, i do missed gprs aswell. But the features and design, next to it the many accesoires it came with (deskcharger,serial cable,holster,3 stylus) do compared the gprs lack.
