Is there anyway to silent the *KERCHING* of the camera sound effect on the k500i? Silent does nothing

Try checking other discussions about this and K700 shutter sound, they basically have that same problem.

if you have dss-25 cradle, you can use www.davinciteam.com software to flash and take off the shutter sound on silent mode.
