Had my P900 for appx a couple of weeks and have had mucho fun trying out various apps etc. I have Tracker, Advanced Call Manager2 FileMan, TaskMan, Handy Safe, Opera, Pop on Top, Quickword, The Pad, Ezitap and Sms Reminder installed at the moment. My query is that my apps are all on memory card and when I check remaining memory I find that I have 8.48m on phone and 19.00m on MC...however it shows memory as 5.83m...so what is this figure and what does it actually mean? Is it the actual memory available if all apps were running? Sorry if this is a dull question but bit confused by this.....any advice of info is warmly accepted.......cheers all!

C: 16mb
D: 128mb (Max)
Rom 12Mb
The P910i has a huge ram of 32Mb and a C: of 64Mb the main reason for upgrading! The kiddies stuck with P900 with P910 firmware I laugh at them.
(note all figures are stated in gross values the actuall memory avalible to user is less due to memory management are and also OS hosting etc etc.)

16mb and dedicated 12mb ram? If so how does lesser background apps mean more mem?

Less apps running = more free ram available.
