I think becouse during a backup the phone restarts, and therfore bluetooth won't work!

That is what i know though, mayby i'm mistaken..........

update is not possible as the update may include an update ofthe bluetooth s/w itself so it must not be in use during the update. I don't know why you can't backup over bluetooth tho This message was posted from a P910

Yes, I understand why it isn't possible to update. and why not to restore! but I can't really understand why it isn't possible to make a backup

it is not possible ...as said before ...the phone restarts during the back up ..meaning bluetooth signal lost ..therefor no connection ...so it cannot transfer any data ...
