I bought a sandisk memory stick pro duo, and the phone doesnt recognise anything on the phone!!!!! What is wrong? do i need to format the card?Help please.

How can you format a Memory Stick when the phone can't see it in the first place. How about the included 32mb MS? Does your P910 see it?

sorry, i am using the SE V800. my v800, recognises the standard 32mb card that came with it easily. I transferred ringtoes onto the card using a card reader/writer on my pc. But the v800 doesnt seem to recognise the sandisk card when i have copied the contents from the 32mb card onto it.

please try it in a sony digital camera or card reader or another phone like P910 in a phone shop if you can. if it doesnt work in any of the above its probably faulty
