my p910 keypad in flip closed mode sometimes the keys dont work correctly. eg i press 1 but 2 is displayed on the screen!! this also means the ok button does not work correctly.

this happens randomly each time i start the phone... sometimes its ok! it seemed to start happening when i upgraded to r3a04 ages ago. i redid the upgrade lastnight but it didnt help.

maybe its something on my mem card? any ideas appreciated as its doing me head in!

CPW are still service centres yes. I think that the contacts are probably dirty and thus are shorting out the contacts (its just a theory!)

Firmware updates are also a good option but only do this after you have visited CPW.

Since you ungraded the software recently, and the problem still persists, its most probably a minor hardware glitch. You bought the phone from Carphone? If thats so, you should take it to them imo. :-) This message was posted from a T230

Yup. That would be advisable before taking it to the Service Centre. This message was posted from a T230

hi!
I have the same problem. May I know how you opened the keypad so that I could also clean the contacts.
Thank you very much.
