> Some Insight on R2A

I was just told that my phone has been flashed. I live in the US and so I pay for this service. I wanted to be clear what I was getting. I have not received the handset yet, but have been told from the guy who flashed the software the I now have MMS. the R2-A designation relates to the hardware version of the phone. the software is R1A-108
I will let you know if I have MMS or not

Not sure whether you can get the hardware upgraded without changing the phone. the software is what is key

I am in U.A.E. Abu dhabi, ejasim i notice you are in UAE too! i was wondering what the latest hardware and software versions are here as "juma al majid " told me R1C but when i went the only had R1B

strange!! last month, i got my phone upgraded from R1A to R1C in Juma Al Majid in Dubai. try phoning them again & make them promise u that thay have it.
I will phone them on saturday & ask if thay have R2A.
