My K700i is a week old. Manual said battery should improve after a couple of charges. Charged it 4 times, and it is drained in less than 3 days.

Is this abolute normal that new batteries takes some time to reach max capacity? Can't help to think about my last phone, a T100, Where the battery never improved from the first charge, thus never lasting more than 4 days.

Or could it simply be needing a firmware upgrade?

3 days. I did reckon that is good. The batt life will improve in about 2 weeks. Your t100 is a non colour phone. The k700i is a colour phone and has lots of functions. So, evidently it will use more batt.

I'm afraid that's the best you're going to get out of the battery, the battery in my k700 only lasts about 2.5 - 3 days too!

I have a feeling that the good old days of the T68i and mono-screened Nokias of batteries lasting over a week are gone, at least until there's a breakthrough in battery technology.

Exactly...given my usage stastics as well i find it hard even to imagine how a full charged can last 1 WHOLE day???

3 days is like...whoa man...you need to use your phone more, poor guy is lonely

Well my phone can last about 2 and half with very minimum usage and the t230 can last a week.

If 3 days is normal, why then advertise with 300 hours? do they mean if the phone lies unused, with screen off?
