Hi everyone!

The other day i finally got my hands on the P910i, what a wonderful piece of technology.

Anyway, the phone was locked to an operator that i dont like, but i could use the phone since i have a old SIM-card from that operator. I did the backup & restore and it went just fine.

Yesterday i got it unlocked and now the phone wont backup anymore! The phone reboots and the backup process starts but after a few secs it says something like "cant backup, make sure youre phone is correctly installed".

Any of you pros have any ideas of what has happened?
Isnt it possible to backup a unlocked P910?

Please help

I've never tried it, i think my P910 is locked to orange (i bought it second hand, i use an orange sim, never tested others.)

I have an Orange branded P900 as well, which is unlocked, but i've never had any problems with it backing up.

Something might have happened to the system files. Have you tried doing a firmware update from SE's site? This doesn't remove the unlock on your phone so don't worry about that.

Give that a try..

Don't forget to backup... somehow
