I am having the Vodafone problem of not being able to use my uploaded mp3's as a ringtone on my K700i.

I have been reading through the forums and have downloaded the Sony Ericsson DRM Packager Tool (v 1.21) and made a .dm file and uploaded that to the phone. It shows up on the phone as a copywriten file and plays like any other mp3 would but will not set as a ringtone or set to a contact etc.

I have not seen this problem before as the DRM package tool seems to fix this for everyone

I dont think i am doing anything wrong...

You probably have really old firmware, IIRC only the newer firmwares support DRM

yeah it's gotta be firmware, what firmware doi you have? Have you considered updating it?
