Hey,
Just a quickie. This is driving be absolutely nuts.
I'm trying to access the net via bluetooth on my PC. I have a USB bluetooth dongle installed. I search on my P910 and i found my PC, i tell it to connect, enter 12 as the passkey, then my PC picks it up, and i entered 12 on my PC, then it said Bonding complete, and my PC said it connected successfully, and shows the two arrows besides the bluetooth arrow showing that it's bonded, but after a couple of seconds this disconnects? Why?
I'm trying to use Opera via bluetooth, but evey time i try to open a webpage, it just connects to GPRS..
Could someone show me the light please? This is driving me mad.
Thanks

Do you connect from the phone to the pc or from the pc to the phone?

Set up a bluetooth serial port connection.
Try here, it should help.

Strangely i've managed to get it working, as stressful as it was, and i can't even remember how...
I'll just have to hope it doesn't break..
Do the 100m BT dongles give greater range? IE would i be able to go in my room (on the other side of the house) and surf the net?

Your phone also has to be 100m for the bt connection to work.

I thought that would be the case..
I tested it, it works in the doorway of my room, but cuts out when i'm on my bed
Stupid technology..!

hehe! strangely it has decided to start working in my room. I'm laying in bed surfing Esato on my P910!

it's killing the batteries though. Oh well!
Another quick question. What streaming audio formats are possible via bluetooth, and what applications will use BT without asking to connect to GPRS?
Cheers.
