I have not long had my T68i and have just purchased a TDK Bluetooth adapter for my PC. I have configured and paired up my T68i and PC, and they appear to be talking quiet happy.
How ever I have started to install the software I got on the CD with my T68i but it says that I need Microsoft Outlook open. I don't use Outlook at home other than Outlook Express for my personal e-mail, and I use my Palm pilot for calandar etc.
1st question how do I create ringtones send them to my phone together with backgrouds etc? Do I need any extra software?
2nd Is it possible to get my T68 to sync with my Palm software? Somebody in the office has a T39 and the software for that allows you to manage the phonebook etc but it won't work with my T68 on his cable.
Any advice on this would be grateful.
Cheers,
Anderoo

you should be able to send anything to the phone with the tdk software.
sync with other soft than outlook is only possible with the xtnd software that you have to buy.

Thanks for your reply, I will have another play around with the TDK software as it confused me.
And I will look to purchase the Palm software.
Thanks again,

I'm not able to 'send anything to the phone' by using the TDK's software, only a few predefined type such as vcard.

You can't send images (or other files) between the phone and the TDK USB adaptor. That's because the T68i sends files over OBEX and TDK uses FTP for files. TDK only expects vCard, vCal, vNote and vMsg(?) over OBEX.
However, if you use the IBM (Digianswer) PC-Card, it works without problems. They obviously supports files over OBEX.
You can however use the serial port (setup in the TDK SW) and SendFile from
http://www.christersson.org/software_sendfile.asp. Then you can send images and sounds to the phone.
