Hi i am brand new memeber.
I got myself a s700i yesterday, and now i wonder if it's possible to use mp3's or wav's as message sounds.
There is 6 pre installed sounds but they are not so funny.

To my knowledge, we cant change the SMS alert on our S700's to mp3 etc.... have to use the standard ones.

I have the newest firmware rk4.... and i have tried to search se-tool for something like that . If you have seen anywhere on setool how to modify the phone to that, i would like to know

Here's a couple of packages for modifying sounds to start with. You can create own sounds or use your own too: http://www.mobile-files.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5139

Warranty will be gone though. Also, only midi files can be used as sms sounds. Don't forget to read the SE Tool manual for basic operations of the application http://www.setool.net You will also need a special cable (it's pretty cheap).
