Hi,

I have a problem with my Phone Lock Code for the K700i. When i put the phone Lock on, it asks any time when i turn the phone on for my Sim and Phone Lock code. When i put the Phone lock at automatic, it ask also any time for that Phone Lock code. When i put it off my phone is not secure.
Did any one of you know a solution for this problem.

Kind regards,
Pitte

No, it keeps on asking for the both codes. First Sim and second the Phone Lock Code.

So what is the problem? You just enter the codes thats it! The problem occurs when you don't know the codes! :-) This message was posted from a T230

Try a master reset dude. If that doesnt work go for an upgrade. What firmware are you running?

Yeah wright buth the manual says that when it's turned on automatic the phone asks for the Phone lock code only the first time a new sim card is put into the phone. And my phone ask for the code ANY time i turn it on.
So now when i turn on the phone each time i have to enter 2 codes. firs the sim and second the Phone Lock.
There must be something wrong.

Does a Settings reset changes any important settings onto my phone like wap etc.? And will i keep my tones etc.?
My Software is R2L001.

No. The settings reset will not delete any saved thing in your phone. Don't worry. :-) This message was posted from a T230

You will not loose ringtones, pictures etc.... But you will loose your wap settings. And a newer firmware R2ae is out, which really improves the batt life.
