My XBOX, as of late, has been acting up on many levels of various games due to dodgy DVD-ROM drive, a known fault for the older XBOX drives. Now, a friend of my brother's blew up his xbox (he melted the PSU), so there are a fair few working parts in it.

Right, well, basically I performed a double DVD-Drive transfusion from the AMerican XBOX belonging to my brother's friend to my Australian Xbox.

Now my XBOX has a SEagate 20Gb Hard Drive, a Samsung DVD-ROM drive, and I also made a Keyboard and mouse for it, but that is not really useful yet, 'cause I don't have a mod-chip and the appropriate linux distro yet...

But meh. Basically, I took the best bits from 2 Xboxes and combined them to give:

Not a bad idea... I'll need some red undies. I'll find some.

But no, actually, I think I'll use green ones, 'cause that suits the console more.

Actally, thats given me an idea. I might take the case from my brother's friend's xbox and mod it a bit... Paint it yellow. Red flames etc... Not a bad idea at all!

ps2 aint quite as easy plus u can get a hdd much easier and cheaper for xbox , more room in a xbox

altho there is a cheaper swap disk/card cheat otion for ps2 but dont av a ps2 so.. not really bothered about ps2 modding

oh i just chipped my xbox and upgraded the hdd to a 80gb drive

if u want can use as a ftp server or http server even a shoutcast server , i use the ftp on local network to tranfer music etc films ,. yeh u get me


p.s THOMPSON dvd drive is shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhite!
