hey, i bought a 128mb memory stick and i cant get it in my phone, the model number is msh-128, my phone came with a memory stick duo adapter which is the same fitting as my new memory stick, alls it says is memory stick and magic gate on it. Is this even compatible with my phone? If not does anyone know where i can pick up a compatible one for a good price which i dont have to pay insane postage costs (ebay *cough cough*.

If you have a P9xx SE phone, you should have bought a Memory Stick Duo. Looks like you have bought a Memory Stick, and your phone is not compatible with that.

You need Memory Stick Duo, these are the mini ones. The adapter is so u can use the small Duo in the larger Memory Stick slots.

Carphone Warehouse actually sell 128MB Duos for £30 now

I got a 512 mb for 69.99 from the local Sony store.

Same price at the camera shop.

Remember u need a PRO Duo compatible device to use the 512MB PRO Duos.

Incidentally, I've just bought a second 512 one (this ones for the PSP) for the bargain price of £39.95 with FREE shipping from ebay!
