A new version of QuickOffice due out soon (April?) which should solve column problems in Sheet plus other improvements.
Answer to my column problem:
"I tested the software on the versions that you mentioned and we do not retain the column or row changes once you exit the sheet on any of our versions for UIQ. While you are IN the sheet and working the changes are retained, but upon exiting we revert back to the original settings.
However, there will be some major changes in the update for Quicksheet UIQ when it is released in April, and this functionality is one of those changes."
