Right, before people start yelling about double threads, this thread is going to be a serious discussion, rather than "DS Roxors!" or "PSP Kixors DS's Arzors!".

I want to buy one of these consoles, and I am biased towards the PSP because of the sleek looks and random bits of info.

Can anyone find a point-by-point comparison of the two consoles?

On Amazon.co.uk the DS is £94.99 and the PSP is £179.99, a price difference that is DEFINITELY not ignoreable.

Some simple questions:

1. Can I watch movies on my DS? (PSP I think you can...)
2. Can I browse the net via the Wireless and the touch screen? (Can I browse the net on the PSP? A little more difficult i'd imagine....)
3. Where does the huge price difference come from? Is it just NIntendo under-cutting the PSP in order to gain market share?

I need answers!!

1. Yes on both, on the DS with a small attachment
2. no net on either, although both the DS and PSP are working on 'upgrades'
3. The PSP is really 100 pounds and the DS is 70 pounds in Japan.
30 pounds difference.

Pricing is simple, the PSP is at a loss at the moment. It's still expensive because they have most functions built in.
