watch the video there, around 18 or 20 seconds... listen to what the guys says... maybe im wrong... but goes he say it can have up to 1 gigabite externam memory?? i really could be just hearing wrong... but its what i heard

This is very old now but yes it was initially planned to have PRO Duo support but when released it simply did not so max of 128MB unfortunately

Yeah the video was around a few months before the phone came out so everyone was excited about gettin PRO Duo capability.....until the white paper was released & showed it didn't get it

I asked the same question on another thread. I have that movie too and I did understand : "1gig of memory" but not even MSDpro 256mb didnt work on ma s700i. Whats the biggest MS that someone managed to use in s700i???

As I said it doesn't support PRO Duo so NO PRO Duo will work in it, not even a 32MB one!
The largest normal Duo is 128MB so that is the limit for the S700
