Hi,

I have Magic Profiles Pro 1.1 on my P910.

The trouble is, it seems to have stopped working!

I have the full version but it seems to not allow mw to enable Magic profiles when I select it or to enable otehr options such as Cell id support.

Has anyone else experieced this?

TIA
Jon

Personally while I think Magic Profiles Pro is a good software, there are some serious bugs and the developer is very slow in fixing things. To begin with there is an obvious conflict between the scheduler's settings and the calendar rule. You cant get profiles bind to the scheduler to change automatically if you a calendar appoitment which corresponds with a calendar rule later on in the day. The illustration below will explain what I mean:

I notice that there seems to be some conflict between the calendar rule and the schedule settings. I have a calendar rule set from 0300/3am - 0700/7am everyday, which is my sleep profile (flight mode...etc). I also have a "prepare to sleep" profile set using the schedule function to kick in at 130am everyday. I notice that MPP will not automatically change to the "prepare to sleep" profile whenever I maintain the "sleep" at 3am in my calendar. But when I delete the calendar entry and hence have no more "sleep" profile, then everything works fine and MPP automatically changes to the "prepare to sleep" profile at 130 or any other profile I set to change after 12 midnight for that matter using the schedule function.

To summarize, it seems I can only have one or the other. If I want my "sleep" profile to kick in at 3am using the calendar function then all profiles will stop changing automatically from 12midnight. I can only get all the profiles to change automatically after that time if I completely delete my calendar entry. This obviously should not happen as the timing is not similar (i.e prepare to sleep kick in at 130 am and sleep calendar profile only at 3am).

I finally got a response from Symbianwave that the bug is confirmed and that they will fix it soon (yeah right!) and to reward me for pointing out the serious bug to them, they have blacklisted my email address so I cant sent them anymore emails. Thanks guys, you've got wonderful customer support!
