Opera wouldn't work properly if you are using WAP over GPRS. I also have a P910. It started to work only when I used a GPRS account with full internet access. This message was posted from a K700i

I'm with Tmobile USA and WAP only account but can use Opera, you just have to set proxy.

Mine works without a problem however my firewall stopped me for a minute.

1: Download and install the latest PC Suite from sonyericsson.com.
This contains the mRouter software needed for
routing your connection through to the internet.

2: Make sure that your bluetooth dongle software on the PC is working. (The scope of this comment doesn't cover bluetooth software problems)

3: Put the phone's bluetooth system on and make it visible to other devices.

4: make sure your PC's bluetooth preferences are set so that it can detect all devices.

5: Pair the phone with the PC (do it from the phone)
In the bluetooth tab choose devices
choose add
choose your PC
enter 1234 as the code

The PC's bluetooth icon will show a popup
click on it
when prompted enter the same code (1234)

Hopefully you should now be paired

go back to the phone, back into the bluetooth control panel
go to devices, click on the PC device and check the
icon for autoconnect without asking (something like that)

6: From the PC Suite connection icon, choose properties, and tick the bluetooth serial port boxes
(note this will cause the PC suite to hog the bluetooth ports. if you use bluetooth serial ports with other devices beware of this)

7: Go into bluetooth places, double click on the phone's icon, double click on the serial port.
You'll need to do this from the PC.

8: Wait for a minute or two for the pc suite to detect the phone.

9: With any luck the PC suite should after a time detect the phone and turn from the undetected "-//-" icon to a pulse like icon.

10: Back in the phone fire up opera and go to any web page.

11: My firewall at this point told me that the application mRouter was making a connection to the internet. I ticked 'Always permit this application to access the internet'. Make sure your firewall software is set to learning mode or to prompt when it detects unusual connections.

Something I have also done in the phone is to tick the 'Show connection dialogue' box in the Internet Accounts screen (within the control panel). This way the phone prompts you when it tries to make you pay for the gprs... (no horrid phone bills)

With any luck this should work. Let me know if this doesn't work.
