i have recently been on the sony ericsson website to download firmware but when i click on download it says damaged link.
do you knowe anywere else you can get firmware from

Ok. The only way you can upgrade a T610's firmware is to take it to a SE service centre. You can't update it online.

t610 can be also upgraded using
www.totalmultiserver.net . I dont know about the t230. If any of these servers support it, i would like to know. Worse come worst. You can pm gbrooks and he can get you the files.
