I have installed the trial of handyday 2005. It has the ability to look up the weather outlook for a few days and display a nice little icon. Howver, I am unable to get this to work...

I use the O2 settings that are on the other thread and I can access the internet fine. I just cant seem to get the weather updates. I checked the settings in handyday and specified ports 8080 and then also tried 80. These are the recomended ports to use. I still do not get the updates.

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Personally I will not fork out the ridiculous amounts they charge for gprs in this country - its daylight robbery. Perhaps I will have to go without the neat weather forcast on handyday...

The weather works for me - I'm on Vodafone.

Make sure you're using an Internet Web a/c - I'm not sure it'll work through wap...

use the O2 mobileweb connection to update.

Also make sure the o2 DNS server details are stored on the mobileweb connection otherwise it fails to locate the update server.
