I am getting a wrong access point name (APN) with my T68 when trying to log on to GPRS. My provider tells me that the configuration is correct and works with the T39. Any ideas?

I had the same problem (the same error message) when trying to set up my mms account on SFR on France. They kept on sending the settings thru OTA (Over the AIR) which means that the settings ARE correct and nuthin`!The same error.I think the error is not the APN but the telephone interprets it as this,as it has no other info available.I was going crazy over this as there was nuthin` to do.I even went online on their website, tried to set it up manually and still not working.Luckly for me, i left France and now in Romania, i don`t need it. U can try something: try to set it up with a nother provider (use some1`s sim) and if it doesn`t work still, it means it is the software. It might have a bug! Try to update it BUT AFTEr u did the little test! Good luck and don`t be nervous

When I get this it's usually because something is temporarily broken in the operator's GPRS network.

As far as i know if the sim u got worked on another fone and not ur t68 this is because not all the settings r stored on the sim, some r stored in the fone it's self,so if u have already resent settings to ur t68 then i don't really know. I would change nw if i were u. :-)
