> Help! my k700 won't play .wav

Guys, I recently bought k7 last week, Tried to upload .wav files but it wont just play and .mp3 is fine though. Pls. advise. Thanks

You can use Nero Wave Editor or SoundForge or dbPowerAmp, you can search them with google. I just have a question, why do you prefer wav over mp3? 16Khz wav sounds bad and consumes too much space because it's not compressed. Why don't you use a decent mp3 instead?

Like blackspot just wrote - these are the convertors you can use.

you can even use the "sound recorder" tool in Windows to convert the format, provided the wav file is short...
Start the Sound Recorder tool in Start -> programs Accessories -> Multimedia -> Sound Recorder
Open up the wave file you need to convert.
then click File -> Properties.
In the box which says Format Conversion, click the button called Convert Now.
Choose Format as "PCM" and the attributes as:
16Khz 16Bit Mono (You can chose the 8bit version if you are really picky about file size).
and then save the file...
thats it..
