what's this WiFi or Wlan thing i hear nokia 9500 communicator users are bragging about? apparently it's a normally free service in some cafes and airports, like wireless hotspots, where they can connect to the internet at high speeds.
don't our pxxx series have that? i heard from one nokia user that only the p910i has it. is this true?
i got a p900 btw. recently upgraded from p800 and stil making my way around.
cheerieos!

Unfortanately SE missed this feature on the p910, no wlan

. It truely is shame that they dont even have a stick with wifi like sd has. Wlan is a must have in a phoen like pxxx. Ice to sync surf and email when you have wlan at home or in a hotspot.

Big shame the p910 lacks wi-fi. Much the same way the old 9210i lacked GPRS. What is it with these manufacturers?

And WiFi is also great for VoIP. That way u can talk a lot cheaper than using gsm. ;-)

WLAN and WiFi are a way of communicating between your phone and your PC or Laptop etc. It's a wireless solution. It's exactly the same as wireless networking in your office or at home. We all now LAN, the W stands for WIRELESS!

With wi-fi on the 9500, we can expect to see more smartphone manufacturers to scramble it into their top-level devices. Hopefully :-)

SE just wait for Nokia to bring out their big 'ideas' - then they produce something ten times better.
Be patient... SE will have their day... soon
